Katy Buchmueller is a color/materials designer from the Netherlands, with roots in the Midwest, and has been in Portland, OR for the past 8 years. She graduated with a BFA in Fashion Design from the Art Institute of San Francisco. In 2019, Katy started working at Adidas, on the performance team and has now shifted over to Originals, working on lifestyle product.

Her design philosophy is centered around the connection between materials, textures, and the color spectrum. Katy believes these elements have the power to influence how we experience and interact with the world. With a keen eye for trends, she constantly explores new possibilities, creating designs that reflect the future of fashion.
